Wednesday, August 2, 2023 - The 1952 Brane Cantenac shows a low-key nose, but if it’s not voluminous or effusive, it certainly is serious, stern, and complex. Griotte cherry, charcoal, rose, and tobacco fill out the nose and palate. The tannins have certainly integrated here, if they aren’t exactly silky. A little austere, but with plenty of appeal.
