Wednesday, May 22, 2019 - Popped and poured, medium-plus purple/ruby, rosé meniscus. Complex nose of kirsch, raspberry, black currant, eucalyptus, root vegetables, black pepper, spicy incense & florals. Medium-plus body, quenching acidity. Rich, sumptuous fruits on the palate show dense yet are cut by an impression of stoney, somewhat saline minerals. Some volatiles on the hot, lengthy close.
With air, this fantastic CdP is ever-evolving & quite stunning - very young though, probably best to age 5+ years before opening.
