Saturday, September 29, 2018 - This was a surprising wine. There is a lot going on here. The powerful dark fruits are quite deep and concentrated. There is the merest hint of sweetness which is well balanced against a savoury mid-palate, featuring dark chocolate,
mocha, cured meats and soft spice. Quite an enticing package. The tannins are fine but quite prominent and are supported by medium acidity. The finish nicely extended. Very nice.
