Friday, February 16, 2018 - HDH auction at Spiaggia; 2/15/2018-2/17/2018 (Chicago, IL): #09-06, 7.5% abv. The nose on this is quite ripe, with some gentle fruit. The palate is a bit softer, and there's a good bit of sweetness too. It's not the most complex wine, but it's certainly a delicious one. Nice touch of herbs and mineral.
