Light to medium brick colour. Red and dark fruit, leafy black currant, blackberry, red cherry, red currant, cedar, leather, tobacco leaf, sous-bois, herbaceous notes, spices, balsamic notes and light ethereal notes, with slightly pronounced acidity, fully resolved tannin, and good length. Finishes lightly drying, but the fruit is intact, and all things considered this is a positive surprise! And I am sure there are better preserved bottles out there. Started to fall apart after about one hour. Drink now.
