Sunday, October 27, 2019 - This wine in appearance is an intense ruby still with hints of purple . The nose is medium minus showing black cherries , hints of Maraschino , a savoury beetroot quality, spice and hints of fading flowers. On the palate , acidity is medium as are the tannins , as are the flavoured of sour plums and cherries. A well made wine, but seems not to have the potential to age for ten or more years, as is possible with a Rochegres. Very quaffable now with food. Enjoy over the next few years.
