Tuesday, December 18, 2012 - WSET Level 2 Class 9 (BCIT Downtown Campus, Vancouver, BC): Tasted non-blind. Clear, medium+ gold-amber. Nose is clean, pronouced intensity, aromas of cereal, sweet stone fruit, a floral hint, light smoke, and a little oak spice. Palate is dry, low acid, medium body, with flavours of citrus, cereal, savoury smoke, and oak/vanilla. Finish is long. Good quality single malt, but a bit generic.
