Saturday, January 2, 2021 - Deep ruby and a tinge of purple with some clearing on the rim. On the nose, you have blueberries, blackberries, black pepper, chocolate and mostly American oak. Medium plus tannins, medium acidity with a full body. Palette is consistent with the nose, fruit is close to jammy. Tannins have a nice grip at this stage. Balance and consistency would be the highlight of this bottle. Finish is long and with minimal heat towards the end. Although a well made wine, would I purchase for 100USD? Probably not.
