Monday, March 11, 2024 - Tasted at 0, 1, and 2 hours decanting and it opened up by 1.5 hours. Still youthful; if I had another I’d wait another 5-8 years. Well integrated tannins, bold flavors of red cherry, currant, pepper, and tobacco. First time having Mayacamas and I feel transported to the Judgement of Paris. Very fun to try a tasty piece of history.
