Wednesday, April 2, 2008 - Medium-dark ruby colour with black tinges; opaque. Aromas of black plums, minerals, licorice, herbs. A little restrained. Medium-bodied, with herbs, stems, some dark fruit. Firm tannins, a little too green on the palate. Short-moderate finish, ~20s with red and black plums. Opens a little with time. Disappointing at this stage. Needs more time, so I'll tuck my last bottle away for a couple years and hope for the best.
