Tuesday, June 20, 2023 - I lost the tasting notes I wrote down more than a week ago, so this will not be as detailed as I would like. One of the best Chardonnay's I've had in several years. Outstanding. Rich, full, layered, long. Great stuff. Consumed at a tasting of Burgundian varieties (Chardonnay & Pinot Noir), this was easily wine of the Wine of the Night. I seldom rate a white higher than the reds in a large tasting, but this outshown all the Pinots (mostly from Oregon, but some Burgundies in the mix). It was far and away the best of the Chardonnays, from around the world. I wish I had more!
