Sunday, August 23, 2009 - 14.1% alcohol. Popped and poured. Black cherry color. Lovely nose of funk, black cherry, baking spice, and minerals. In the mouth, beautifully refined and balanced. Full of juicy black cherry fruit. Excellent mouth feel. The complexity really sings. This is tremendous for an appellation wine. The long finish sets it apart. A-
