90 Points

Wednesday, May 24, 2023 - A bit underwhelming. Nose features sharp lemon zest and pith, crushed stone, honeysuckle, apricot, white flower. Medium bodied with tart acidity and a bit of textural grit, it needs air to find itself. Flavors include bright lemon juice, white peach, sweet vanilla, honeysuckle, pear, and a bit of buttered bread. It has a lot of good components but the tartness of the acidity takes away from them. I imagine the balance was better a few years ago, and it's hard to see this resolving itself with further aging.
