Sunday, March 10, 2024 - Note from memory. There seems to be some bottle variation with this wine as this bottle came over as much more youthful than the previous one with a deep young color with little evolution, a bouquet with a lot of “umami” (beefstock) and a taste much more marked by the Syrah, with plenty of tannins. This is a nice wine but less complex than the cuvée Grand Romane of the same house. Drink it now or over the next 3 years.
