90 Points

Saturday, October 20, 2007 - Ripe and distinctly Auzzie in profile. Blue and black berry, hot asphalt, oaky characteristics and lots of black pepper. Over a couple of hours a sweet, herbal edge appeared. Drinking nicely now, well made and will last a number of years. I cannot help feel that this is a Syrah built for Cab palates. It lacks the cooler climate complexities found in the better CA Syrahs.
