Wednesday, February 2, 2022 - Opened 6 hours before drinking & left uncorked. Did not decant. Medium body barbaresco with no sign of age. On the nose I detected black fruit - cassis & black cherries - and some peppery spices. On tasting I found more fruit & spice with well integrated tannins and a medium/long finish. Drinking quite nicely right now with a decant or several hours of breathing, and should hold here for several more years. Lovely piedmont wine.
