Tuesday, January 26, 2010 - S$220. Decanted 1 hr, drunk over 2. The wine didn't evolve considerably over the 2 hrs that it was drunk. Served blind to friends and the consensus is a classic left bank Bordeaux. Plenty of earth notes with good fruit and a high level of tannins. Pleasurable to drink now, but will wait another 3 yrs to allow the tannins to soften and for the wine to open up more. Personally, I'm a bit disappointed with the price-quality ratio, would readily pay $160 (wine and label).
