Wednesday, January 11, 2017 - Fourth bottle of the tasting, served this alongside the 2000 LP. Opened ~3.5 h earlier with an ounce being poured out and then back in the bottle. Deep red in color. Classy aromas of tobacco, cedar, cassis, dark cherries and forest floor. Medium bodied palate shows silky and sweet dark cherry fruit, graphite, well integrated acidity, melting tannins and a long cedar perfumed finish.
