Med + acidity, Med + intensity.
American Oak, vanilla, creamy oak. Med + tannin.
Later on, more blackberry and cassis with a little tart black fruit. Wonderful. This is what happens to the leftover Monte Bello grapes, due to not wanting to produce too much of the Monte Bello brand.
Looking forward to tasting this against the Monte Bello '01, blind.
