Monday, March 28, 2005 - Seattle Low-Key Bordeaux at Lola (Lola Restaurant): A nose with a hint of light fruit- sweet cherries, cinnamon?, mineral. Overall seemed very well balanced, with present but not powerful tannin. I was way off on my guess as the way this was showing seemed more like a merlot to me. It was just a bit reticent and definitely opened up over the night and was still opening- I was tempted to bring home the left-overs to see where it might go (but we left it for the wait staff) 88 beginining of the night, probably a 90-91 with appropriate air.
