Thursday, October 27, 2016 - A lovely mature rounded wine with aromas of ripe cherry and cassis. On the palate the tannins are soft and silky. Everything is perfectly balanced but is not as complex as some of the great Lynch Bages vintages and it is slightly marred by finishing abruptly and leaving an acidic note in the mouth.
