Thursday, June 8, 2023 - Opened today to taste/determine whether to decant. The wine is simply fabulous with a dusky flavor coupled with berries. Still, I wanted it to breathe for just a few hours (I was not sure once it was opened I could wait much longer). The 4 hours decanting made it even more insane raising my rating from a 94 to 97. We'll see what tomorrow brings. Does red wine go with pancakes in the morning? :-)

I have 4 more bottles in my cellar and plan to open one every wedding anniversary.
