Saturday, March 13, 2021 - Not sure I can add much to the notes already made by ajbergren and KillerJones. So glad I’ve practiced patience with this wine. Decanting for 15-30 minutes balances and smoothes out the flavours.
Rich black berry fruit, with hints of blueberry jam, medium acidity and tannins, present, but beautifully mellowed. Long lingering finish. Paired beautifully with the first BBQ ribeye of the season. Fantastic wine = It’s not often R and I fight over the last glass. 😧
