Monday, July 11, 2022 - The previous reviewer's bottle may not have been stored well or otherwise flawed. The one we opened yesterday was perfect. Still a beautiful dark red, plenty of nose and body with good fruit. Tannins we're soft with a lucious mouth feel. We opened a slightly younger 91pt. Barolo after this one, and my European wine conossieur friend remarked that it "didn't hold a candle" to the SMW Sangiovese Reserve.
