94 Points

Saturday, June 15, 2019 - A day in Napa (Napa Valley, California): The nose is deep and pure with elegant tones of raspberries, black cherries, dark red fruits, cassis, mint, cedar, chocolate, violets, and spice notes. There is a lot of class and seamlessness to the nose that is a real joy to smell. The Full bodied feel is well balanced and polished with medium acidity and silky, high tannins. This is clearly youthful, but it is also really good. This is pure Howell Mountain and it is a real delight. This will certainly benefit from at least another 3 years and in reality another 5-8+.
