Very concentrated nose of burnt caramel and very ripe cassis on a pleasant oak. Liquorice, burnt toast and coffee all evident. Young, full, not yet harmonious but firm and juicy and showing great promise. A powerful Pomerol with a developing empyreumatic bouquet. To keep – wrongly identified blind as a 2005.
