Thursday, June 25, 2020 - Plenty of kirsch and cherry on the nose. A deep deep core showing tar bramble and some scorching. After two hours the intensity remains. The alcohol level is elevated as it’s young so the wine dries a bit on the back end.
Night 2: the nose shows a bit of tar. The wine is very smooth and easy with good depth. A bit of bite on the finish, but it maintains elegance. A lot to like here.

Should be a stunner— drink from 2026-2040. I am inclined to let mine rest near term.
