Friday, November 9, 2018 - 2018 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium – Kelly, RJ, Justin and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/7/2018-11/11/2018 (Villa D’este, Lake Como): The cork pops gently. Very vinous nose displaying sweet dry yellow fruit, apricot, dry apricot, peach, toffee, crème brulee, brioche, sweet spices and earth. Fully integrated palate, nicely layered extremely sweet apricot and peach, only remnants of bubbles, bright acidity, good mineral presence and a long sweet yellow fruit and sweet spices driven finish. Very sweet and no sign of oxidation but drinking more like mature white Burgundy.
