Friday, December 3, 2021 - SF captures this bottling quite poetically. For once our preferences and palates are completely aligned and I love it! This was a beautiful expression straight from Coravin, giving its best argument that it might be in a beautiful place to open and enjoy now. This had a remarkably beautiful, almost delicate but concentrated floral characteristic to it that beautifully melded with the melted tannins, red fruits, and integrated oak. More red fruit than others, but not in your face, everything here was balanced and felt elegant. Really has come into its own over the last couple years and has left behind the characteristic 2013 tannic power for a balanced, elegant profile highlighting florals and earthiness. A great showing.
