Wednesday, July 26, 2017 - NZ Pinot (Jervois Rd Wine Bar + Kitchen, Auckland): Earthy nose with just-ripe black cherry and slight reduction. Violets, dried and fresh. Red cherry - ripe. Beautiful nose.
On the palate, shows a bit of development, savory red fruit Classic structure - medium body, slightly elevated 13.5% alcohol (correct), elevated acid, medium minus tannins - fine tissue-paper. Long finish - white mushroom, wet leaves, cherry. Neutral oak?
