Monday, February 21, 2022 - Color is slightly off putting. Initially pear on the nose and beautifully spicy. Nice acidity. Medium tannins. Dark fruit and pear on the palette. Long finish with lavender notes. Liked it less as it opened up. Ate with meatballs in tomato sauce and pesto noodles.

Better the second day. Smoother. Less acid, still spicy. Next time, I’ll decant.
