Friday, January 20, 2017 - As Chambertin goes, this is on the simpler side but is there ever any "bad" Chambertin? This is definitely further along in development than I expected. Showing secondary notes, with a loamy, mushroom and forest floor but still a hint of red fruit. A touch of cooling menthol and perhaps even a little bit of salinity. While this will probably stay in the drinking window for a few years, with the aging arc, I would probably drink 'em if you got 'em.
