Saturday, May 6, 2023 - At our daughter's wedding banquet at the Grand Hyatt hotel poolside ballroom. OWC from London. Capsule, cork and level all good. Decant 30 mins. Color mature cardinal. Nose was average. Hint of cigar, leather, currant and mild mineral. Balanced tannin and average after taste. Likely passed its prime but still a nice affordable vintage Bordeaux. Matched nice with crispy skin grilled pig, braised abalone with oyster sauce and crispy deep fried chicken. A lovely enjoyable evening.
