Monday, June 19, 2023 - One hour decant in glass. Dark garnet with red edge in color. Nose of red berries, plum and sweet tobacco (NOTE: had a bit of foxiness that blew off over the course of the meal). On the palate: red berries, red delicious apple and a citrus backnote before sous bois emerges. Creamy tannins are felt on the gums and tongue. Medium-to-long finish of red berries, sous bois and the slightest hint of wood spice.
