Community Tasting Note

Tuesday, August 21, 2018 - Consuming this at Vineria Modi in Taormina. Maybe there is slight location bias but this delivers for its price, especially with 45 minutes of air. Probably a top 5 wine in terms of salinity. Yes it is mute with a short finish but a perfect accompaniment to the local white fishes you’ll see on menus here. I’m trying this in advance of ordering any Etna Bianco Superiores.

8/21/2018 12:48:00 PM - I was there earlier today! Went to Il Buongustaio for a meat and cheese plate after tasting at Calabretta. I’m off for an Etna hike in the morning (tasting at Biondi post-hike) and then on to Pantelleria Thursday for two nights (tasting at Serraghia) but please send some recs! I need to come back. Love this place.

Etna/ Randazzo would be where I would make my way, my fortune; there is so much opportunity. Special place, I'm glad you feel the same way.
