100 Points

Sunday, October 22, 2006 - The colour is lovely and alive - a light, lively pale red. The nose is somewhere near perfect, with sweet black and red fruit, opening up with time. The palate too is well nigh perfect. Lovely balance. It has great elegant dried fruit flavours, but with a nice sweetness too.
Four hours later, the nose is clear, direct and fragrant. Focussed, proper palate: full, fragrant and damn near perfect. A great experience.
