Sunday, July 14, 2019 - A blend of Pommard, Wädenswil, Dijon 777 aged 10 months in French Oak of which 25% were new barrels. Just over 500 cases produced.
Decanted.
Always seductive, the Shea vineyard offers aromas of fresh picked cherry, crushed raspberry and pomegranate with touches of bergamot, citrus, rooibos, hibiscus, Himalayan pink salt and a hint of earth and bramble.
The palate offers full, silky-smooth textures, zesty acidity and fine moderate tannins. Enveloping the palate are the intense flavors of juicy raspberry, fresh red cherry, pomegranate, red tea, rose petal, citrus zest, rock and mineral that all linger through the elegant finish.
A precise Shea Vineyard Pinot Noir. 92/93
