Thursday, May 18, 2017 - Held up well. Deep garnet, no bricking. Light florals and dark fruits on the nose. Flavor palate carries plum, sour cherry, and some baking spice into a medium finish. Tannins still holding on through the finish. Solid, but not remarkable. A good accompaniment for grilled steak.

Day 2 - Improved... Nose picked up some licorice and lavender notes, Licorice carried into the mid-palate. Overall, softened out. Tartness subsided, tannins softened. Might add a point based on Day 2.
