Friday, January 26, 2018 - Pale yellow color with moderate effervescence. Bouquet and flavor of dry apples with some mineral notes. Nice acidity with good balance, but lacking nuance. Easy to drink and pleasant. Drunk with our very tired meal at the Slanted Door in San Francisco, which may be the busiest restaurant in the world. Unfortunately, over the years, it has lost its innovative and exciting take on Asian food, and has adjusted to its popularity by dumbing down on flavor and alluring taste combinations. Too bad.
