Wednesday, September 15, 2021 - Not an overly big wine, but intensely savoury with smoky bacon and briny black olive notes weaving in and out of the dark currant/berry/floral palate. Seems at once ripe, tart, and saline, depending on the mouthful. A wine of complexity and character, surely one of the finest Syrahs made in Canada. Co-fermented with 3% Viognier. Diam closure.
