Friday, May 6, 2022 - Decanted for an hour, poured with a pan seared NY strip. Shy nose of cocoa, tobacco, blackberries. Palate follows, sweet berry fruit coming forward. Mild fine-grained tannins, not a lot of acid. Very pleasant but IMO less interesting than it was when younger - herbal notes gone. Enjoy it, but drink up.
