Saturday, October 7, 2017 - Always afraid when opening the Charlemagnes from this producer, I have had so many pre-oxidized examples. This is just perfect, having reached a perfect plateau of maturity. Aromas of lime, citrus, nuts and minerals with hints of oil and dry wood. Full bodied, high acidity, lots of sweet citrus, minerals, oil and nuts. Incredibly long aftertaste. Extremely young for a 12 year old wine.
