Friday, September 21, 2018 - Quite rustic and clunky out of the bottle but settled nicely over dinner. Classic old-school nebbiolo with the perfumed rose mixing with soil and a touch of barnyard brett. With the first bite of food (beef ragu) the clunkiness shattered and wine showed itself; pure fragrant fruit, juicy acid, long finish.
