Sunday, April 28, 2024 - At the end of the day, it remains a Sauvignon Blanc. But it is singular, although maybe less noticeably in this vintage compared to 2015 which I found slightly more exotic. Petrol and grapefruit on the nose, grassy, with spearmint and tropical fruit, honeydew melon.. I was especially pleased with the acidity in 2016, nothing flabby at all.

This paired excellently with hamachi crudo and a green leaf salad with shallot vinaigrette.
