Friday, October 5, 2012 - This is drinking real nice tonight, very Chambolle, refined, and youthful. This is pretty soft and feminine for Feusselottes, showcasing silky dark red fruit rather than dark stone fruits. Good acid and spice and overall sense of balance. It's got a great iron and red fruit nose, and while there's a subtle green streak that runs through this juice, it's not much of a distraction, just makes it speak more of the typicity (in a good way) of this vintage. Nice work here, aging nicely. Going back to the glass -- what a great perfumed nose and a real nice mouthfeel on the palate. Almost a year to the day that I last had a bottle of this -- seems to have lost much of its greenness. Like this a lot tonight.
