Thursday, November 9, 2017 - 2017 Villa d’Este Wine Symposium - Kelly and Kevin's excellent adventure; 11/9/2017-11/14/2017 (Villa D’este, Lake Como and Milan): Shy and a bit thin nose displaying mostly tertiary notes, shy strawberry, shiitake, wet forest floor and iron. Light and airy, perhaps a bit watery at this point, shy red fruit and shiitake driven palate impression, subtle acidity, strong steely mineral accentuated by subdued fruit and a medium iron driven finish. For my palate, needs more fruit but others seem to like it more.
