Saturday, February 19, 2011 - Lighter purple red hue. Fairly simple at first and tightly wound at this youthful stage. It blossomed a bit over the few hours it was open with a mineral-driven aroma and palate complemented by savory herbs, spicy red fruit, pepper, black cherry, licorice. A bit rubbery. I'd wait 2-3 years at least...Overall, refreshingly light at 14.5% and expressive enough, but I'd like to revisit in 10 years.
