Sunday, August 18, 2013 - Decanted for an hour+, served with cocoa crusted pork tenderloin and sauteed mushrooms. Still far from ready. Dense, not as unyielding as it was 5+ years ago on release, but not worth opening now. Unlike other posters I found no elegance in this bottle, brooding, medicinal and far from what I expect a VT to be like in its drinking window. Hold and revisit in 2016+.
