Wednesday, November 13, 2013 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #083; Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2005 vs 2007 (By AH): Beautiful ripe cherry fruits in the bouquet. On the palate cherries, herbs and spices, leather, licorice, some sweetness balanced by beautiful acidity and bitterness. Round tannin with a pleasant bite. A very well balanced and beautiful wine with a future of at least 5+ years.
