Saturday, December 26, 2020 - My last bottle from Xmas in 2018 was pretty advanced so it was with more than a little trepidation when I poured this – once I saw the color, huge relief, this was good to go. At 15 years in, this (sound bottle ) is in a really lovely spot, more soil than citrus, the acidity has neatly folded into the overall frame work of the wine creating a balanced, almost round feel. Still, a confident and sure finish still has some muscle and power, but the descriptors ‘elegant’ and ‘classy’ poppped into my brain every time I took a sip. Just lovely.
